So your literacy task is a little bit of history too. Over the next 3 / 4 days. We want you

to research the history of yoga, where it originated from and the benefits. Write a

couple of sentences / paragraph with this information on. Feel free to include pictures

too!

Maths To be fair when it comes to Yoga and Maths, there isn’t a great deal. However, we have attached a couple of

information sheets about yoga poses and how they link to certain math's shapes.

FoodYoga makes it easier for us to crave healthier foods.

Mission 1: To plan, prepare and cook a healthy

balanced meal for the people you live with.Healthy is selecting ingredients from the sections on the eatwell guide.

Balanced is a bit of everything from the eatwell guide coloured sections and the right

portion size e.g. rice should be a 1/3 of your plate.

You can prepare and cook a meal from the recipes saved in this project folder or challenge yourself to create a different recipe.

Don’t forget to take photos of your meal.

Record down why your meal is healthy and balanced

Mission 2: Can you answer these questions:➢Why is it important to choose a variety of foods?➢What to eat to be healthy and how much to eat?➢Write a 3 day healthy meal plan breakfast, lunch and dinner including the sections from the eatwell guide.

Always have a drink of water ready when exercising as you need to keep hydrated for your mind and body to

function.

“circle” or “center”. Colouring Mandalas is a soothing activity that enhances children’s:
