PHILIPPINE RED CROSS sent a 32-man Water Search and Rescue team to Tacloban on Sunday evening through a 15-truck convoy of ambulances, rescue trucks & boats, and two water tankers. Trucks are loaded with food and other essential relief supplies such as hygiene kits, k i t c h e n u t e n s i l s , j e r r y c a n s , tarpaulins, water bladders and water-treatment units, emergency latrines and medical supplies.

DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS h a s h a d 1 5 m e m b e r s o f a n emergency medical team in Cebu since Saturday. They are also sending more than 30 staff to assist with medical and psychological treatment. SHELTERBOX now has 504 tents en route from Dubai to Manila. There are a lso 9 ShelterBox Response Team members carrying out assessments in Cebu, Bohol and Tacloban over the next two days. The warehouse team are setting up aid at ShelterBox HQ, UK ready for our volunteers to pack a further 200 ShelterBoxes for the Philippines.
