Book: West’s Federal Taxation – Individual Income Taxes: 2018 ed.
Please remove the tax software CD (if any) at the front of the book
and turn it in UNOPENED with your name on it. It will be returned
in time to complete the assigned projects.
Course Objective:
The course will introduce the participant to the fundamentals of
federal income taxation of individuals through the use of practical
problems.
Other: Each participant is responsible for the topics covered including the
materials assigned, lecture notes, class discussions, handouts, and
materials presented in class. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to
obtain missing material and lecture notes if a class is missed and to
submit homework and tests timely. It is strongly recommended that
participants form study groups. Note: attendance is part of the
homework grade. Homework is due PROMPTLY at 6:30 on the
date it is due.
