this Wisconsin native can tell you all about the struggles of being from the Cheese state and living in new York. After his now-wife made him move to Manhattan, he found success in his craft. He was selected to perform at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal where he was voted a standout performer. He finished as a semi-finalist on the competition Last Comic standing on nBC and even had a Comedy Central half hour special. Check out what everyone else is finding out: this comedian is a must see!

While we know that this singer has an amazing voice, she wasn’t always so sure. she started off in music with the piano. throughout her years she learned to play several other instruments, finally settling on the guitar as her instrument of choice. thankfully, she found her voice and is willing to share it with us. Check out this soulful singer who has been compared to Dionne Ferris!Co-sponsored with Inclusion & Diversity and Diversity Dialogues
this year we are welcoming back one of our favorite UW-La Crosse graduates for a third

Kat McDowell was born in Japan and raised in new Zealand. she decided to go back to Japan for college and try to make it as a musician. While the change didn’t happen overnight, she accomplished what
she set out to do. Her first full-length album went to number one on Japan’s vinyl charts and sold out of copies within two days! Additionally, she could be seen on tv commercials, performing in festivals like
the summer sonic Festival, and opening for switchfoot. now she is trying to spread her music throughout the world, 2014 being her first time performing in the United states.

More money, more problems. Broke digs into the psychology of men whose competitive nature carried them to victory on the field yet seemed to ruin them off the field. According to a 2009 sports illustrated article, 60 percent of former nBA players are broke within five years of retirement. By the time they
have been retired for two years, 78% of former nFL players have gone bankrupt or are under financial stress. sucked into bad investments, stalked by freeloaders, saddled with medical problems, and naturally prone to showing off, many pro athletes get shocked by harsh economic realities after years of living the high life.
