1 Mount Your Weather RadioPlaceyourweatherradioonaflatsurface,suchasadesk,shelf,ortableormountitonthewall.Tomountitonthewall,youneedtwoscrews(notsupplied)withheadsthatfitintothekeyholeslotsonthebottomoftheweatherradio.1. Useapenciltomarkthescrewlocations311/16in(94

mm)apartonthewall.2. Drillaholeateachmarkedlocation.Threadascrew

intoeachhole,makingsureeachscrew’sheadextendsabout¼in(6.5mm)fromthewall.

3. Alignthekeyholeslotsonthebottomoftheweatherradiowiththescrewheads,andslidetheradiodowntosecureit.

OFF WhenALERTissettoOFFandanalertbroadcastisreceived,analertsoundsfor10seconds.Theradioautomaticallyswitchestotheweatherbroadcastforfiveminutes.PressWEATHER/SNOOZEtoswitchfromthealerttonetothebroadcastbeforetheradioswitchesautomatically,ortostopthebroadcastbefore5minutes.

• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type.• Do not mix old and new batteries, different types

of batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.

• If you do not plan to use the weather radio with batteries for a week or more, remove the batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage electronic parts.
