STATE TIMES NEWSKATHUA: DistrictDevelopment Commissioner,Kathua Rahul Yadav onTuesday chaired a meeting toreview the status of projectsfunded under RuralInfrastructure DevelopmentFund (RIDF) of NABARD inthe district.
The meeting was informedthat a total of 59 projects in dif-ferent sectors are being execut-ed under District and StatePlan for infrastructure develop-ment in uncovered areas. Theprojects taken up includeRoads, Bridges besides assetsof Health, Flood Control,PHE, Irrigation, SheepHusbandry, AnimalHusbandry; Ayush etc arebeing funded under RIDF ofNABARD.
The DDC while reviewing the
physical and financial progressof the taken up works laidthrust on timely completion ofthose projects approaching thecut deadline. Besides, thread-bare discussions were also heldon various issues related to
fund flow, timely submission ofProject Completion Certificatesand Utilization Certificates,besides bottlenecks hamperingthe. The DDC impressed uponthe implementing agencies tospeed up execution in view of
the improved Covid situation.He also called for submittingProject Completion Certificatesand Utilization Certificates ofthe projects completed to facili-tate early commissioning of thepublic assets.

1. The original instruments in respect of cost of documents, and relevant documents of L1 bidder will be required to be submitted to theExecutive Engineer REW,Doda within three days of opening of financial bids on line. No separate intimation about opening documents arenot submitted by the L-1 bidder within three days after opening of financial bid, the tender will becancelled and the bidder will not be allowed-to participate in any further/future tendering process in the Divisionfor a period of oneyear.
2. Bidders can resubmit/withdraw the bids as specified.3. The bids for the work shall remain valid for a period of 120 days from the date of opening of Technical bids.4. The earnest money shall be forfeited, If:-

Threadbare discussionswere held on various issuespertaining to the working ofNGOs. The DeputyCommissioner appreciatedthe efforts being put in byNGOs for the welfare ofsociety.

The Committee inspected the Barracks,interacted with the Jail inmates -undertrial and inquired about the facilities beingmade available to them viz quality of food,lodging and other amenities. TheCommittee especially inquired and person-
ally checked the sanitation conditions inthe Jail. On finding some jail inmates rea-sonably qualified/ talented, the Committeeasked them to educate other inmates/Prisoners. The Committee advised theinmates to make best use of their time byinvolving into Positive activities
The Committee also met with femaleJail inmates and suggested them to keepthemselves involved in Positive activitiesand make best use of their time.Committee also directed the JailAuthorities to take best care of all the Jailinmates and also initiate/ undertake someprogramme/ activities for their well being.
