Classroom Rules

• Listen and follow directions• Come to class prepared• Raise your hand and wait to be called on before

speaking• Respect others• Keep hands and feet to yourself• Keep your area clean• Take care of classroom equipment and materials• Always try to perform better than you did the day

before

Homework Policy

• Homework will be given daily (Monday-Thursday) and due on a daily basis.

• Homework will be given on Friday only to those students who do not complete homework or class work during the week.

• Students who do not complete homework will lose recess or receive an afternoon detention

• Homework is given as a review of California State Standards previously taught.

• Daily reading at home is essential for your child’s success in fifth grade.
