The Ecumenical Hunger Program (EHP) has a one-acre site where they have a small but bountiful year round garden. EHP’s volunteers work in the garden, weeding, pruning, planting harvesting and mowing the lawn. You will help them sort out their food pantry and learn socio-economic challenges of East Palo Alto community.

The Sutro Stewards conserves and restores wildlife habitat, connects people of all ages to our natural world, educate and engage urban residents in the protection of our shared, local environment. Volunteers will clean up forests and work on conservation challenges.

Food Not Bombs is dedicated to sharing healthy food in a sustainable manner. Come help prepare dinner for those that might not get a meal that night. You will have meal together after the food prep. Serving a meal in the Daily Free Meals Program is a transformative experience. This program requires 85 volunteers each day to fill the breakfast, prep, lunch and dinner shifts, 364 days a year. With your help we can serve up to 2,400 meals per day to our community. Volunteers assist with everything from serving food, to bussing tables, to handing out silverware and condiments.
