LESSONS LEARNED ?

Mittwoch, 18. September 13

1

The PB according to the „Cologne model“ was the right concept in

2007 for starting with e-participation.

LESSONS LEARNED

Mittwoch, 18. September 13

2

A change is gonna come!

The scope for political decisions in budget term got limited which puts the acceptance of the PB to a risk.

LESSONS LEARNED

Mittwoch, 18. September 13

3

The approach of the PB should change towards a city political dialog about sustainable budget consolidation und setting the focus on budget planing.

LESSONS LEARNED

Mittwoch, 18. September 13

4

Citizens should be involved into discussions about infrastructure

planing, urban development etc with technical solutions which meet the

needs

LESSONS LEARNED

Mittwoch, 18. September 13

5

The citizens‘ existing need to submit „every day problems“ can be caught

by suitable dialog formats (e.g. request and complaint management

system).

LESSONS LEARNED

To think out of the box

Summary

2Mittwoch, 18. September 13

It will hurt. It will take time. It will

require dedication. It will require willpower. You will need to make healthy decisions. It requires sacrifice. You will need to push your

body to ist max. There will be temptation. But, I promise you,

when you reach your goal, it is worth it!
