The Rheingau is famous for:

- its beautiful vineyards

- the wine

- some special sights ( for example

Kloster Eberbach in Kiedrich,…)

- the nice scenery

Eltville

“City of roses“Eltville is also known as the

“city of roses”.

There´s a garden, which is full of those beautiful flowers –and it´s really big !

In summer it´s great to go there with friends or family, just for viewing the wonderful area.

The vineyards Eltville is famous for its vineyards,

like lots of towns and villages in

the Rheingau.

If you walk a few minutes from the

centre of town, you´ll probably be

able to see them – it´s like they´re

almost everywhere.

Christmas in Eltville Of course, we celebrate Christmas in

Eltville, too.

All the people decorate their houses

in Christmas-time.

There are lots of events for little

children, for example the big advent

calendar, which shows nice pictures

in the windows of an old house.
