• Chunuk bair was the mountain that they fought on.

What is the role of the returned services

They provide support for soldiers retiring from war.

6. Why is ANZAC important to Kiwi .

ANZAC is important to Kiwis because the ANZACs fought for freedom .

7. What were the living conditions like for the ANZACs?

They lived in trenches.

The rain caused the trenches to flood.

Yes! They landed 2 kilometress away.

9. How do we celebrate ANZAC day today

We have a public holiday and lots of people go to the dawn service.
