DAWN OF THE DEAD (2004) What you see:

Make-up makes them look horrifying/scary

Quick dramatic cut-scene to zombie hoard to intimidate and scare the audience

Shows title of film and gives brief insight on film from the transaction into blood

DAWN OF THE DEAD (2004) What you hear:

Reporter speaks over the crisis throughout OTS explain scenes as it happens (back-story)

General zombie sounds e.g. groans etc.

Police sirens, heart monitor, explosions all add to tension and reveals crisis to audience, dramatic music over scene to fuel tension

DAWN OF DEAD (2004) What you feel:

Horror Disgust Shocked Intimidated Enlightened to situation

22 JUMP STREET (2014) What you see:

Comedy, funny situations, gives insight to audience on genre (Action/Comedy)

Introduces title of film, along with actors etc.

Show elements of action which reveals to the audience its also action as well as comedy.

22 JUMP STREET (2014) What you hear:

Weapon loading, gunfire (action)

Speech between Characters (may be short comedy) opens/explains scene.

Well known music covering scene involves audience who listen to this type of music (Aimed at audience)

Happy Positive Edge of seat (Part Action) *Laughter Involved and interested in the story line
