Kuressaare has 5 kindergartens with public playgrounds, where children can go after the kindergarten is closed and also children who don`t go to kindergarten.

In September 2006 all kindergarten playgrounds were supplied with new attractions for children.

Playgrounds can also be found in the center of the city and in the park.

The city is planning to build new playgrounds also in the future.

Kuressare is a health city and has many places for outdoor activities.

Young people use playgrounds at nights as places to party. Attractions have been ruined.

Downside of playgrounds

Cigarettes, bottles and vomit have been left on the playgrounds.

Kuressaare’s private kindergarten playgrounds are only meant for children, who go there.

But they aren’t in good condition.

The circumstances in children’s playgrounds are surprisingly good.

The number of attractions is sufficient.

Children’s attractions are in fine shape and new.

Toys are versatile and colourful. Kindergarten playgrounds are

cleaned.
