Climate in the Philippines

The Philippines has four climate types which are

based on the temperature of air and the amount of

rainfall.

• - Type 1- Two pronounced wet

and dry seasons. It is

dry from November to

April and wet for the rest of the

year.

Type 2- No dry season with a

very pronounced

maximum rain period from

November to January.

Type 3- Seasons are not very

pronounced. It is relatively dry

from November to April and wet

during the rest of the year.

Type 4- Rainfall is more or less distributed

throughout the year. There is no dry season and no pronounced maximum rain

period.
