Digital Humanities is an inherently collaborative field of research.

scientists enter a new and unnerving territory where they often encounter new and unfamiliar methods, workflows or jargon.

You are expected to go beyond the limits of individual methodologies.

The goal of design-oriented research is to acquire new knowledge about human behavior and needs in the context of technology.

Design Probes provide context rather than instructions.

The probes were intended to provide a glimpse into the daily life of the target group.

Could design probes contribute to better communication between collaborators?

reflection on the collaboration process as it is, in order to understand how it is seen by the participants

The Rules

1. Each player receives 7 cards from different categories.

2. a player can choose to add to a hub or open a new hub

3. The owner of the first card is the coordinator of the hub.

4. placing a card in an existing hub is pending discussion

5. the agreed upon particulars have to be written down.

6. you can change your entire deck once

7. you can add more than one card per empty space.

As context we use the European Dictionary Portal.
