The Romanian educational system has not the subject DRAMA in the national curriculum. Still there can be optional classes with such a topic, and only after the teachers ask the opinion of parents and children, they can choose to teach Drama in class.Even though this doesn’t happen very often and there is not such a class, drama is part of the kindergarten or school activities in various forms.

The first drama scenes are used in the kindergarten in ROLE-PLAY: Playing the doctor, mom and dad, the hairdresser, the shop-assistant, etc.

Making wooden puppets – making dialogues on a given or at choice topic.

Getting used to the drama world – actors, scenery, stage, puppets, curtain...

We have been at the theatre... with KOE.

Taking part in the play if we are invited.

It is a tradition in our school to go every year to the theatre–the examples/models are good for children.
