My Philosophy of Education

• “It is better to be prepared and not have an opportunity, than to have an opportunity and not be prepared.”- Sylvester Croomo Everyone learns in a different way and by a

different method• Aim high in everything that you do

because when you shoot for the moon, if you miss you will still land among the stars.

Class Attendance• Show up for class, PREPARED!!• Class participation is a part of your grade.

My Grading Scale• A- 100-90• B- 89-80• C- 79-70• D- 69-60• F- Below 60• On all grades lower than a 70, corrections

will be allowed to be made once.

Homework Policy• Homework will be assigned sparingly and

will be turned in for a completion grade.• Test/Homework corrections, if not finished

during class will be homework.• Test/Homework Policy- Any corrections that

are assigned will be due the next class from which they are assigned.

• If corrections are not turned in on time, the original grade will be recorded.

Dress Code• I heavily enforce the dress code• Pet Peeves

- Hats being worn when they are not approved.(Especially hats worn backwards)

- Pants sagging- Clothing with offensive or inappropriate

language

IT IS ALL ABOUT HOW YOU PRESENT YOURSELF!

I am…• I am an educator and a coach.• I wonder if I will be able to have the same

impact on children that my teachers did.• I hear the Lord calling me to become an

educator.• I see children that have no one in their

corner.• I want to make a difference.• I am an educator and a coach.

About Me…• I am from Hendersonville, Tennessee.• I played college baseball.• I love history.• I love the sport of baseball.• I am a student just like you.• I try to learn something new everyday.• I am Tanner Moulder, teacher.

I Expect…• I expect everyone everyday to show up

and give their absolute best.• I have the upmost confidence in every

student. • I am hear to help, so ask questions. It tells

me that I am doing my job.• Remember this: “I think, therefore I am.” -
