in your bwowser

It will open to a window like this

Click the yellow SIGN UP NOW button

Click Select for a BASIC plan

All plans come with one free domain name

Type in your domain name inside this box

Consider using your real name or a nickname

Click the NEXT button

It will check you if the name is already taken

You will receive this message if the name is available

Fill-out the Account Information form

Click this and choose for the account plan you want

Uncheck all the add ons

Click More payment options

And choose how you will pay

Enter details of your card

Check the Terms of Service and click SUBMIT

You will receive a welcome email from the host provider

The email contains all about your account information

Click the Update Your Password link and change your password

check I confirm and click continue

You can now create many wordpress websites

Inside your host

Let’s create WordPress inside hostmonster

Click the CONTROL PANEL LOGIN button

enter your username,

password and click SUBMIT

This will appear

This is the cpanel or

control panel

Collapse everything you see by clicking these arrows

Until you are left with a wordpress icon

Click the Wordpress icon

It will open to a wordpress

builder screen

You will see prices at the

lower part

With a message - Let us do it for

you (Paid)

Ignore it, you don’t need to pay to install wordpress

Go instead into the Do it yourself

(FREE)

under Do it yourself (FREE), Click Install

Ignore items on the right, these

are just advertisements

type what you want to name your blog here

Click Check Domain

It will check if the name you typed is unique

check Show advanced options

Give your site a name and

change admin password

choose a password that you can use and remember

Check the terms and conditions and click Install Now

At the upper part, you will see this message

Screen will change from color blue to orange when done

And you will receive an email from Mojo Marketplace

Informing you that your wordpress install is complete

Click View Credentials

Click View

You may also click My Installs

All your installed wordpress will appear

Click on Admin Login

A classic wordpress login

will appear

Type in your Username,

Password and click LogIn

your WordPress dashboard

You can now start working on your hosted wordpress website

start customizing your website

create a post or page

On your dashboard is the wordpress menu

Work on your site content

using this wordpress menu

Let’s create a post

Hover your mouse over

Posts and click Add New

Or click Posts then click Add New

All your Post titles will appear here

There’s a draft post or page titled Hello world!

click Edit to change the default Hello world template

Change the post or page

title and start writing

Type in the title of your post or page

here

Change the Permalink by clicking the Edit button

Type a name that you desire

Then click the ok tab

use this editing toolbar

in creating your content

If you want to put image, click Add

Media

You can either drag and drop

files here

Or click on Select Files Then

click Insert to post

Media Library contains all your uploaded images

Click + Add New Category to set

a category

Click Add button to add tags

And click this to set featured

image

Setting up a category, tag and featured image

helps in sorting out your post list

click Preview Changes to

check your post

Go back to editing the post

and click Update

click Save Draft

click Publish when you want to publish your post

Now let’s create a page

click Pages

click Add New

Just like a post, there’s also a sample

page

edit the page as you would have edited a

post

enter the title of the page

Work on the content of your

page here

Use this page editing toolbar

edit the permalink

Setup the Page Attributes and Featured Image

preview the page by clicking

the preview button

Save Draft or Publish the

page

you want to see what your website looks like?

under Home tab click Visit Site

the front home page of your website will

show up

Go back to your dashboard to

choose a theme

a theme is how your website will look like

Hover over Appearance and

click Themes

there's a lot of free themes that you can choose

from

just click activate when

you have chosen one

click Activate

click Customize to customize your website

Use this customizer menu

The customizer allows you to preview changes to your site

And navigate to your site before publishing them

When done customizing your

site, click the Save button

Click x to go back to your dashboard

And then continue working with your website.

The only one who can tell you that you can’t do something is you; so if you can get out of

your own way, there’s almost nothing that can stop you from achieving what you want.
