Postgraduate and Employment

• Internships pilot –E.G data has shown 7% of leavers without a disability were unemployed compared to 12% with a disability despite students with disabilities at Kent having a higher undergraduate success rate.

• Focus on employability skills through ambassador scheme and University initiatives – with an increasing emphasis on WP students

• WP student progression to PG study currently good but looking to impact on higher fee cohort.

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Identify selected cohorts of students to work with through primary and secondary – and into university

• Evaluate the work we do and adapt accordingly

• Monitor student progress and impact of events and activities

• Undertaken extensive analysis of undergraduate student success in relation to a series of WP proxies and protected characteristics to inform new areas of work
