Titles

Italicize (or underline in handwritten or typewritten copy) the titles of books, magazines, movies, television shows, newspapers, journals, computer software, and longer musical works, such as compact disks.

Do not italicize (or capitalize) the before the title of a newspaper.

Use quotation marks to enclose the titles of articles, essays, book chapters, speeches, poems, short stories, and songs.

A title is never both in italics (or underlined) and in quotation marks.
