Our pupils have prepared materials about rare animals and birds of Ukraine

Their pictures are not perfect but sincere and helped them learn a lot about our country

Berkut or Golden Eagle, a rare bird living high up in the Carpathian Mountains

Mouflon isn’t living in the wild now but was very common in the south of our

country before

Salamanders can be found only in pure mountainous streams

Bison, a big and strong animal that lived in our forests for many centuries but now is

protected by the Law

Dappled deer was numerous in deep forests of Ukraine, now it also

endangered

Dappled Lizard can be found only in some parts of Ukraine

Lynx, was almost destructed but protected by the state, now its population is slowly growing

Night Owl was also endangered but now is

spread all over the country

Steppe Eagle, lives only in the southern and eastern parts of

Ukraine

Brown Bear, the master of the Carpathian forests, now is very rare and protected by the state

White Stork, the symbol of family and home in Ukrainian
