About the Alliance
Effective from 15th April 2016, JAS and Necotrans have entered into a formal Business Alliance Agreement.
Under the alliance agreement, JAS and Necotrans will provide freight and logistics services on all continents. Both companies will represent each other exclusively in their respective territories.
JAS and Necotrans will collaborate in providing freight forwarding and logistics services globally. The focus of the alliance is on the development of freight and logistics services to, from, and inside Africa. Customers will benefit from the combination of JAS’ global freight network with the African footprint of Necotrans.

NECOTRANS GROUP
Created in 1985 by Richard Talbot, Necotrans
group is owned by Sophie Talbot, his daughter.
Key-player in specialised logistics in Africa, with
5.000 employees, 126 establishments in more
than 40 countries, Necotrans group generates
95% of its turnover on the African continent.
In 2014, huge investments have been made,
especially for the Dakar bulk terminal (Senegal)
and the river port of Brazzaville (Republic of the
Congo).
In September 2015, the Group won the bid for
the multipurpose terminal at port of Kribi
(Cameroon) and acquired, in November, MCK in
DRC.
