The positive frog

Hello my name is Melody and

today I'm going to share this

story with you

This is the story of a special Frog that use to live in a pond with other animals.

In this pond there was also a bunch of tiny frogs who arranged a competition. The goal was to jump up to the higher leaf in the

pond as many times as possible.

A big crowd had gathered around the pond to see the competition and cheer on the contestants. The race began. No one in the crowd really

believed that the tiny frogs would arrive to a higher leaf.

Heard through out the race were statements such as, “Oh, way too difficult”, “They will never make it ”, “Not a chance they will

succeed”, “The leaves are too much ”.

The tiny frogs began collapsing, one by one - except one who continued to jump higher and higher.

This one refused to give up!

At the end of the race, all had given up except for the one tiny frog who, after a big effort, was the only one who reached the goal!

All of the other tiny frogs wanted to know how this one managed to do it. They asked him how he had found the strength

to succeed and reach the goal.

It turned out that the winning frog was deaf!

If we really want to accomplish something, and stay positive we can always choose to become deaf, especially when the people around us

say discouraging things.

we hear.
