AIR QUALITY INFORMATION
The KYOVA MPO is situated in the Huntington-Ashland airshed which includes for Fine Particulate Matter 2.5, Annual Standard Cabell, Wayne, Putnam, and Mason (partial) counties in WV; Boyd, Greenup, and Lawrence (partial) counties in Kentucky; and Lawrence, Scioto, Adams (partial), and Gallia (partial) counties in Ohio.
For 8-hr Ozone, the Huntington-Ashland airshed comprises Cabell and Wayne counties in WV and Boyd County in Kentucky.
Interagency Consultation :The Interagency Consultation (IAC) group held a teleconference to coordinate the transportation conformity processes for the TIP and MTP
Public Review: KYOVA followed all procedures for updating the TIP and MTP Transportation Control Measures: There are no Transportation Control Measures for
this area. Fiscal Constraint: The KYOVA 2 TIP and MTP are fiscally constrained

KYOVA POLICY COMMITTEE – PURPOSE
To serve as the policy body for cooperative transportation planning, decision-making, and programming that affects the metropolitan area. Responsibility for the review and approval of appropriate plans, implementation programs and other similar related actions.

Initiate, guide and sanction activities required for the development of a coordinated, comprehensive and continuing transportation planning process
Examine the adequacy and appropriateness of the metropolitan transportation planning process
Review various agreements entered into for the execution of transportation planning activities within the Transportation Management Area
Review and approve proposed goals, objectives, and policies for the metropolitan planning process
Review and approve short and long-range metropolitan plans, studies, and other metropolitan planning work elements as required by the planning process.

The Forum was established after the Ashland MPO was integrated with KYVOA to provide input only for Kentucky specific projects

Individuals from Boyd and Greenup Counties, Kentucky to include local elected officials, bike/pedestrian, transit and individuals working in the local governments in positions such as public works and housing.
The Forum is not a decision-making body.
