Students worked in groups to inquire into the meaning and main ideas in

the PYP transdisciplinary theme; Who We Are

“An inquiry into the nature of the self; beliefs and values; personal, physical,

mental, social and spiritual health; human relationships including families, friends, communities, and cultures; rights and responsibilities; what it means to be

human.”

Students read this paragraph individually then highlighted an important idea from it and shared it with their group. The

group then decided how to show the important ideas in a

“frozen” mime. Later they added blurbs, of what their

mimes presented, to photographs of the mimes.
