LiST Framework

Create a Population Demographic Projection: population parameters

Add Child Survival Data Cause of death, health status and coverage Effectiveness data

Edit Child Survival Data To encompass changes from baseline

Creating Projections

Create New Projection Use Trend Projection File:

Extract and save all of the country files Open new projection Find the saved file Check “apply to all projections” File, save projection

•*if you change the configuration of the trend projection, save the projection again*

Editing Demography

To apply LiST analyses to the population of your project area (instead of national population):

Edit Demographic Data Change the “First Year Population

•Multiply by the ratio of your project area population to national population

International migration•Set to zero or multiply by same ratio

34

Making Changes in Coverage

35

One by one Easy, but slow

Duplicate Select cell (black highlight around edges) Shift + arrow (or end) Click Duplicate once all cells of interest are highlighted

Interpolate Same as duplicate Click Interpolate once all cells of interest are highlighted The first cell selected does not change, but stays as the baseline Interpolate from right to left

36

!Remember to Save Scale Up

37

Remember: LiS T does NOT automatically save anything!!!

Save As: File, ‘Save Projection As’

•Rename TWICE!

Re-open Baseline File, ‘Open Projection’

You should have 2 projections visible in the bottom right hand of the screen.
