MULTIMEDIA PRESENTATION:ODE TO MY PEN
My pen tailors my thoughts
Into a tapestry of language
He delivers a myriad of sentences
To the solid pulp mash which imbibes his ink
Crimson verbs, Obsidian nouns, Oceanic adjectives
Sometimes pen flows too eagerly
And vomits ebon blobs upon the page
Soon though ballpoint becomes hoarse and fades.
Sputtering and incoherent, his speech regresses
Final words stutter, and he perishes blankly
Mute, buried in a wastebasket
Among the other has-beens.
