• I will follow you (v. 57)

• Follow me (v. 59)

• I will follow you (v. 62)

Resoluteness

Lahat ng mga tagasunod ni Jesus ay

dapat na buung-buo ang loob na

gawin ang lahat ng kinakailangan para

matapos ang misyong ibinigay niya sa

atin.

"Your duty is to go and preach about

the Kingdom of God" (Luke 9:60 NLT).

The Resoluteness of Jesus (9:51)

"As the time drew near for him to ascend to

heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for

Jerusalem" (Luke 9:51 NLT).

"Listen, we're going up to Jerusalem, where all the

predictions of the prophets concerning the Son of

Man will come true. He will be handed over to the

Romans, and he will be mocked, treated

shamefully, and spit upon. They will flog him with

a whip and kill him, but on the third day he will

rise again" (18:31-33 NLT)

The Rejection of Jesus (9:52-56)

“But the people of the village did not

welcome Jesus because he was on his way to

Jerusalem” (v. 53 NLT).

“When James and John saw this, they said to

Jesus, ‘Lord, should we call down fire from heaven

to burn them up?’” (v. 54).
