With today's explosive growth of data, networks are now connected to machines (M2M). This technology is being used and has become critical for development across every industry including energy, healthcare, retail, transportation, and utilities. However, each industry has its own types of connected machines and devices. Each kind may utilize a small or large amount of data and, depending on location and mobility, require different access technologies (2G SMS, 3G data services, 4G LTE). In addition, applications that deliver M2M services become too complex if they need to support such a wide variety of access technology protocols. Network operators need to interwork with all the 2G, 3G and LTE protocols and provide a simple, access-independent interface to M2M applications. Designed to deliver instant access to all the raw data in massive data stream, Maestro is a flexible and powerful software platform that monitors, collects, and responds to all information the network generates or that is coming across the network from users, devices, or machines. It is an integrated, end-to-end, real-time solution for network data delivering the following core capabilities: - Extending 2G M2M applications to 3G and 4G access technologies. - Developing an M2M application once and reusing it in all access networks. - Developing one converged M2M application.
