HIGHLIGHTS OF TURKEYDay 1 - Arrival Istanbul [D]

Arrive in Istanbul. You will meet your assistant, holding a name sign outside of the luggage claim area at the airport.

Overnight at Grand Yavuz Hotel or similar in Istanbul.

Day 2 – Istanbul City Tour [B, L, D] Breakfast at the hotel. Tour of "Sultan Ahmet Mosque“ (Blue Mosque), Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome, Serpentine Column, Grand Bazaar.

Lunch at a Turkish Restaurant.

Topkapı Palace, Sultan Tombs, Ceramic Panels, Prince Robes.

At the end of your day around 5:00pm, you will return your hotel.

Overnight at Grand Yavuz Hotel or similar in Istanbul.

Day 3 - Ankara – Cappadocia [B, L, D]At 6:00am, you will be transfer to airport for your domestic flight to Ankara on TK#2128 departing at 8:00am.

Arrive in Ankara at 9:00am and then go to Hittite Museum and Mausoleum of Ataturk.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

After lunch drive to Cappadocia (Approximately 4 hours).

Overnight at Perissia Hotel or similar in Cappadocia.

Day 4 - Cappadocia [B, L, D]Breakfast at the hotel. After departure from the hotel, morning visit to the underground city of Kaymakli & Citadel of Uchisar.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

After lunch, continue with the valley of "Goreme" & Open-air museum. The last sites will be Pasabag valley and Avanos.

Overnight at Perissia Hotel or similar in Cappadocia.

Day 5 - Cappadocia - Konya - Pamukkale [B, L, D]Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure for Konya.

On the way visit the 13th century Seljukian caravanserai "Sultanhan".

The next stop will be Konya which is famous with Mevlana Museum and the Theological Scholl of Whirling Dervishes.

After lunch, drive to Pamukkale.

Overnight at Tripolis Hotel or similar in Pamukkale.

Day 6 - Pamukkale / Kusadasi [B, L, D] Breakfast at the hotel. After departure from the hotel, visit Hierapolis, Necropolis Graveyard, the ancient world, Roman Baths, Basilica and calcium cliffs.

Drive to Aphrodisias.

After lunch visit the Greco-Roman and Aphrodite.

Then drive to Kusadasi.

Overnight at Tatlises Hotel or similar in Kusadasi.

Day 7 – Kusadasi [B, L, D]Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Meryemana and the House of Virgin Mary.

Continue to Ephesus, the Roman Capital of Asia Minor. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules Gate, the Temple of Hadrian, the magnificent library, Agora and fantastic Greco-roman theatre.

After lunch visit the Basilica of St.John. Return to Kusadası and free afternoon. Dinner will be served at your hotel.

Overnight at  Tatlises Hotel or similar in Kusadasi.

Day 8 -Kusadasi / Canakkale [B, L, D]Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure for Pergamum.

After lunch visits of Asklepion. Continue for Troy.

The legendary town in the iliad of Homeros, visit the Athena temple.

Drive to Canakkale. Dinner will be served at your hotel.

Overnight at   Iris Hotel or similar in Canakkale.

Day 9 -Canakkale – Istanbul [B, L, D]Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast cross the strait by ferry and drive to Istanbul along the shores of Marmara sea.

(Gallipoli can be added to this program). Transfer to the hotel.

Overnight at Grand Yavuz Hotel or similar in Istanbul.

Day 10 - Istanbul [B]

After breakfast, you will transfer to the airport to take a flight to home.
