Woodblock printingWoodblock printing is when the user decides to print

certain images or text on specific material other than original paper. Woodblock printing is mainly used in places in east Asia such as China. Woodblock printing has been done on textile or later paper.

Printing PressA printing press is a specific type of standard printer that

prints text, numbers and images. A print press is a very big machinery and was used in the early 20th century. The print press also includes a photocopier which allows it to copy many different pages.

LithographsA lithograph is a process of printing where a stone would

glide into a metal surface which would allow the product to print. This product was made in the 18th century as it was not firmly designed to be built with such high quality printing, it could only print the basics.

EtchingEtching is a printing process where the metal surface cuts

through the edge of the page for it to print. Etching also uses strong acid to allow it to print on firm paper. This piece of printing production was made in the 15 century hence why it is not a great as it is today.

Aqua TintAquatint is an intaglio printmaking technique which is

similar to etching. In intaglio printmaking, the artist makes marks on the plate that are able to be able to hold the ink.
