製作方法(當作參考)

• 焊接:高溫如「電焊」、「氣焊」、「電弧焊」等。低溫如「錫焊」、「銀焊」、「點焊」等。

• 電鋸、割、切等。• 打磨、究磨。• 表面處理: A. 清潔、 B. 著色 — 化學

著色和自然氧化、 C. 完成表面保護。

Methods for creations (for references)

• Welding : – High temperature: “electric welding”, “gas welding”,

“electric-arc welding” etc.– Low temperature: “lead welding”, “silver welding”,

“point welding” etc.

• Electric saw: cutting, choping etc.• Sandpapering, polishing• Surface rendering: (A). Cleaning, (B). Colouring

– either “chemical colouring” or “natural antioxidation”, (C). Accomplishing a preservation of surface qualities

• 創作雕塑:藝術家個人多數不受環境觀念的影響,也不受服務對象的附加條件或外表因素所規限。

• Sculptural creation: The artists themselves usually are not disordered by the effects of environmental concepts, or restricted by the additional criterions or appearance matters of the service targets.

• 近代「城市雕塑」,與社會繁榮建設的需求有不可劃割的牽連,其實「城市雕塑」的性質是「環境雕塑」的一個部份。

• The “city sculptures” from modern and contemporary era cannot depart from a connection with the demands for prosperous infrastructural constructions of our commercial society. Indeed, the elements of “city sculptures” is one of the important chapters from the studies of “environmental sculptures”.

另類比較傳統雕塑:• 恒常以硬性材料抗衡時間與環境的損害

現代雕塑:• 達達主義與新達達主義的傳統藝術背叛運動

• 成功的雕塑本身是一座凝固的人類文化行為,這種文化行為形式與人類社會及時代背景有不可分割的開係

• 做雕塑竅門:不在乎有沒有能力將心裏的意象外形化,乃在誰有本領在心中形成一個足以表現「志之所在」的意象。

抽象雕塑:在具像的基礎上實施「遺貌取神」,不注重自然界外表的形象,卻捕捉物象最根本的精髓。

• 一為「抒情抽象」,是感性的,有機的,浪漫的,直覺與潛意識的。

• 二為「幾何抽象」,是理性的 ,無機的,科學的,幾何與邏輯的。

• 以構成主義的手法組合非具象的材料。

Other comparisonsTraditional sculptures:• Regularly adopt the concreted and hard materials to counteract with the damages from

the time sequence and the environmentModern sculptures:• “Dadaism” and “Neo-Dadaism” as two major streams of anti-traditional art

campaigns• A successful sculptural work is a behaviour of solidifying the human cultures. The

format for this kind of cultural behaviour cannot depart from the human society and the background of epoch.

• Key factor for creating successful sculptures: Avoid an over-emphasis on whether you have the capability in externalizing your “illusionary episodes” as “concreted forms”. It depends on who has the capability in developing a “confident illusionary vision” that MIGHT be realized as a concreted form inside his/her mind.

Abstract sculptures: Apply the tactic called “selection of essence from the remained facial and compositional features”. Never care too much about the external appearance of the natural habitat, as what an artist should concern is to capture the most fundamental kind of spiritual qualities from a particular object.

• The first notion is “ABSTRACTION LYRIQUE”; which is quite sentimental, organic, romantic, intuitional and subconscious-oriented.

• The second notion is “GEOMETRICAL ABSTRACTION”; which is rational, non-organic, scientific and logical.

• To form a non-realistic material through the mean of “Constructivism”.
