Thomas Phillips Male Audience The action, which is shown throughout the film appeals to the Male audience a lot more than anything else, all of the action and adventure draws them in. A good scene for this is when they get caught in the small whole in the cave, it send a lot of action to the audience and get the Male side more indulged as it’s all on the edge and they could die if they don’t get out of there. Juno running to the male audience is sex appeal and the fact that it’s a sporty woman going for a jog in the morning with a tight shirt on really catches most of the male audience’s attention. Female Audience The picture all of the girls take while they’re together plays with the stereotype a bit where they look like they’re all about to go on an adventure which you wouldn’t typically expect. Another scene for which will appeal for a female audience is when they’re having their girly sleepover, that they’re all together and gossiping while drinking alcohol. Following stereotype it does still appeal to the female audience as most like a girly sleepover and gossip. Horror Audience To get horror fans into the film early enough for them to watch the whole thing the first scene of death and gore comes without around 5-10 minutes of the film starting where Sarah’s family get killed. Another part of the film where horror fans can get a good feeling from the film is where Holly falls and the bone in her leg splits out and the audience can see it. That along with most of the death scenes and fights

Another part of the film where horror fans can get a good feeling from the film is where Holly falls and the bone in her leg splits out and the audience can see it. That along with most of the death scenes and fights between the girls and the crawlers can pull in horror fans.

AdventureAudience

At the very start of the film it opens with a scene of some of the girls going white water rafting. Which eventually leads to the rest of the film spent caving.

Further along around a quarter of the way through the film the scene where all of the girls go hiking and then going cave exploring. Extreme sports fans will enjoy the kind of journey the characters will go on but will also enjoy seeing what kind of things they are doing wrong, and thinking about how it would really be done.
