in one colour at a time as the song goes on.

Blank Space – Taylor Swift • The video tells a story so it narrative video. The story matches the

lyrics. The video has lots of lip syncing. • The video has lots of close up shots on Taylor Swift also the first shot

is a set up shot as it shows where the video is taking place. • The videos tends to cut from light to dark.• The video is a pop video it was popular for a while then was soon

replaced by another pop video, it would be called ‘girly’ as it is all about relationships.

Foster The People - Pumped up Kicks• The video shows the band in-concert while also telling the story of

there tour. • The narrative of the video is the story of there tour and what they did

the story doesn’t really match the lyrics. • There is some lip syncing as they performing live it shows them in

sync with the music.

of the lyrics in the song and changes them to make it funny. • It is done with lip syncing but the changed lyrics, it also has some

surrealist moments as it has an effect to make it look like the guy is falling through the air.

they want it could also be surrealist because it is not real. The video shows the artist becoming a piece of abstract art.• The video also uses miming.

them to make there own.• The video uses lip syncing.• The video shows the band member in different places all places that

would be used in a typical video.

song. • The video is a classic rock video famous for the special effects it uses.
