We've written a fair number of articles about or mentioning the Nissan LEAF in the past, and for good reason. It's super popular, super efficient, and super stylish; we'd talk about it all day if we could.

But now the 2014 model year is coming just around the corner and we here at Fred Beans Nissan of Limerick have been speculating as to the changes we'll see in the next LEAF. A new exterior design? Maybe new features? New colors? What could they do? Well, the automaker has answered our question and it boils down to what our article title states:

There's still some good news for those of you who have yet to take the all-electric leap though. The RearView Monitor, which was initially a part of the Charge Package, will now come standard on the base LEAF model for the 2014 model year. Additionally, the EV-IT functionality - available on S, SV, and SL trims- will now offer voice command navigation system for your convenience as well as an SMS readout. Otherwise, everything else will remain the same. But that's certainly not a bad thing.
