Here is the approved Canadian validation process to test fuel consumption efficiency of Xp3 treated
fuel, specific to the equipment you are running in your fleet. Our guarantee is that you will see an
improvement at least equal to, or better than the input treatment cost of Xp3, if you don’t, we will
refund you the purchase price of the Xp3 product used during the testing period.
1. Choose 3 pieces of equipment that you will be doing the testing on.
� Use the same station and same brand / grade of fuel to fill up every tank.
� Stop filling up when the automatic release kicks in, don’t “squeeze in” additional fuel.
� When treating fuel, use the dosing amount as indicated in Appendix “B”
2. Document the fuel economy of 10 successive tanks WITHOUT Xp3 on the 3 different assets
operating in near identical conditions and log the data in the form found in Appendix “A”. This
data will establish your baseline for the average litres consumed per 100KM (or per hour) of
your vehicle using untreated fuel.
3. After the 10th tank, send the baseline data to [email protected] before proceeding to the
next step. This allows us to determine the amount of Xp3 you will require for the Xp3 treated
phase of the test. We will ship, (or deliver) to you the required amount of Xp3 for the treated
portion of the test.
4. Once you receive the Xp3 product, begin testing and documentation fuel consumption of 10
successive tanks treated with Xp3, operating in near identical conditions used in Step one for
each vehicle.
5. Upon completion of the 10 treated tanks, send the data to [email protected]. We will
interpret the data and calculate the difference in fuel efficiency between the untreated fuel and
the Xp3 treated fuel. If the increase in fuel economy does not at least cover your full cost of
treatment, and you have followed the procedures in this document, we will refund the entire
purchase price of the Xp3 product you used during your trial.
Copies of dated fuel receipts for each fill must accompany each form when submitting your results.
For heavy equipment, farm machinery or stationary generators, the steps above will be followed, but
fuel consumption will be measured as litres per hour of operation. Please inquire about specific details
