Quaynote Communications in association withYachtMedia are running a two day conferenceprogramme alongside the 2015 Palma SuperyachtShow on 30th April and 1st May 2015. This isfollowed by an optional Golf / Networking day onSaturday 2nd May, which is open to all delegatesand participants, with tuition for aspiring golfers.
This is the first time that dedicated internationalforums specifically for professionals in thesuperyacht industry have been staged concurrentlywith the Palma Boat Show, and the events havebeen enthusiastically greeted by the Balearic YachtBrokers Association who organise the SuperyachtShow, and MYBA their umbrella trade associationwho have both offered their support for the program.
The Balearic Nautical Business Association (AENIB) and the Spanish Superyacht Association (AEGY)have also pledged their support, as have the Balearic Government and its Port Authority, all of whom willhave representatives speaking at, or attending the conferences.
Given the increased attendance at the Palma Superyacht Show and the high proportion of superyachtcaptains participating, it is expected that The Future of Refit & Repair, and The Future for Captainsand Crew will be well-attended by this exclusive target market, as well as by brokers, charterers, yards,designers, crew companies, suppliers, corporate service providers, associations and managers.
Furthermore, the program will offer a businessefficient option for overseas visitors to combine theirattendance at one or both of the conferences andthe golf day, whilst still having time to visit theSuperyacht Show and the 32nd Boat Show Palmawhich will run until Monday 4th May. The venue is close to the Palma Boat Show site onthe Paseo Maritimo, at the recently refurbished fourstar Melia Palace Atenea Hotel, with its first classconference facilites and executive standardaccomodation.
As always at Quaynote Conferences there will be asocial events program offering time for relaxedbusiness networking opportunities.
The Après Conference programs will include a cocktail party courtesy of Jotun Paints Iberia, on the rooftopterrace of the Melia Palace Atenea Hotel, after the Future of Repair & Refit Conference on 30th April.
