United Way displayed multiple messages on their fully wrapped transit bus in Wichita Falls, Texas from 2014-2016.

United Way identified their target audience and leveraged the large medium to create messages targeting different segments. The overall design and branding is part of the LIVE United Way Campaign.

The message on the curbside of the bus targeted parents and the street side of the bus displayed a general brand message.

Transit buses are like moving billboards that run 14 hours a day. The large medium allowed United Way to have two separate messages on one bus. This maximized their advertising dollars and provided messaging that was audience specific.

Each side of the bus was unique. Designs were focused on brand messages and related to targeted segments.

United Way has maintained the multiple message strategy for two years

with a different design for each year.

This frequency has helped them increase the reach and familiarity of their brand. The updated designs helped their message stay relevant.

This has allowed them to improve on their design from one year to the next.
