Must include the proper heading: First and last name, student #, date, page number (if math) and the objective. 4. Peer graded/Teacher graded 10. 1. Writing: Weekly paragraph, goes home on Friday, due the next Friday Homework 2. Math: Workbook travels back and forth M-Th. One page each night reinforces the concept taught that day. 3. Reading: Record 20 minutes on reading log 4. Spelling: Worksheet, test taken on- line (www.spellingcity.com ) Thursday evening 11. Missing Work & Make-Ups Missing Work: Missing assignments receive zero credit and are marked with an M in the teachers electronic grade book Make-ups: When possible, please call the office or email the teacher to request make-up work to be picked up in the front office. 12. Academic Grades A+ = 98% -100% A = 93% - 97% A- = 90% - 92% B+ = 88% - 89% B = 83% - 87% B- = 80% - 82% C+ = 78% - 79% C = 73% - 77% C- = 70% - 72% N = 69% & below Tests and projects will receive a percentage and letter grade. Tests=40% Classwork=50% Homework=10% Writing grades will be determined by a rubric. 13. Effort Grades For Work/Study Skills and Citizenship O = Outstanding (Almost always does) S = Satisfactory (Doing what you are supposed to do most of the time) N = Needs to Improve (Is not doing) 14. *Sign SWATTEC form and leave on desk *Check packet for additional information Technology 15.
