Conventional zinc hydrometallurgical process plus 110m2 fluidized bed roaster, large catho
de plate and automatic zinc-stripping technology are used for Zn smelting;
KIVCET direct lead-smeting process plus large anode plate vertical shuttering casting
technique are used for Pb Smelting.
It is a Pb and Zn combined production plant.
Zhuzhou Smelting Group Kivcet Direct Lead Smelting Project
Capacity: 120 ktpa
CINF firstly introduced the KIVCET direct lead smelting technology to treat Pb concentrate blended
with Zn leaching residue from Zn smelting system, to enhance smelting efficiency.
Danxia Smelter was commissioned in 2009 with designed Capacity of 100kt/a Zn, which is the 1st Zn plant in China
adopting pressure leaching process to directly treat Zn sulfide concentrate. And it also created many firsts in China: 1st to
produce elemental S product from Zn sulfide concentrate leaching residue; 1st to industrialize 3.2 m2 cathode plate in
electrowining; 1st to apply automatic Zn stripping line; and recover valuable metals like Ga, Ge and Im from the solution by
adopting goethite iron removal process; the overall technological level of the plant is internationally advanced.
Nonfemet Corp. Ltd Danxia Smelter
Capacity:

It's the first time in China to import the pressure leaching process from
Canadian Sherritt to treat Zn concentrate.
Now, this plant is running in full capacity with excellent performance.
Yuguang 80kt/a Pb Bath Smelting Project
CINF firstly applies the direct reduction technology of liquid high- lead slag to industrial production, and
firstly applies the process of oxygen enriched bottom blown oxidizing furnace + oxygen enriched side
blown reducing furnace to large scale lead bullion production, which solves the problems of high energy c
onsumption and poor environmental protection happened in SKS blast furnace reduction process.
