Funding & grants- Textile Growth Programme - Last programme, £10.7 million programme, of which

£322,553 grant awarded for projects in Bolton, which will raise £807,317 private sector leverage and create/safeguard 35 jobs

Pending new support will be a £19million programme.- Export Growth Fund – £9.9million. Access to grant and loan to support export led

growth. Focus on manufacturing. Minimum grant 25k on 5:1 leverage.

Grants – plant and machinery, building and construction, technical consultancy, site investigation, R&D, international marketing, product testing, trade fairs, training

- Apprenticeships Support - Greater Manchester Apprenticeship Grant for Employers (GM AGE). Potentially up to £3.5k for SME employers taking on an apprentice for the first time

- NW Fund – Start up & Micro loans. Target lending of £6.8million during 2015/16 (Business Finance Solutions)

- Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce - free skills review and training grants (e.g. L&M, customer service, sales growth, digital marketing and social media)

- MAS – grants from £300-£3,000 for eligible projects aimed at increasing profits
