Summary: •  The proposed Masaka-Mpape, Abuja Ring Road is to serve as a

connecting route from Masaka in Nasarawa State via Mpape to Abuja. The total length of the road is approximately 26 km; and the duration of the road project is 2 years.

Objective: •  To decongest Abuja-Keffi Road which is causing a colossal loss of lives

as a result of incessant traffic accidents; loss of man-hour in productivity; and stress, arising from locked-up traffic. The traffic logjam on this road deteriorates during the morning and evening rush hours.

•  The high density of the population along Abuja-Keffi road axis contributes significantly to the chaotic traffic situation.

•  The construction of the proposed Masaka-Mpape Ring Road will achieve the following.

1. Provide an alternative route for commuters and travelers. 2. Minimize security threats posed by the over-flow of heavy traffic around the Three Arms Zone, where the seat of government is located 3. Open up vast area for the development of additional Districts.

of the Project. Total Project Cost: •  N24Billion ($150Million) Project Structure: •  DBT(Design Build and Transfer) Economic Benefit: •  The project will generate 500 employment during the construction period •  Open up new Districts to attract investors •  Generate more revenue to the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria
