Christmas Trees and Unique Decorations – Our Specialty

Christmas is just around the corner. What better way to get into the spirit, of this most joyous occasion, than by adorning your home with Christmas decorations?

The Christmas tree is undoubtedly the center of most homes decorative schemes. Together with other decorative features that surround it (gifts, Christmas baubles, Christmas styled ornaments, holly and mistletoe) a perfect setting for the season’s celebrations can be made.

Each year our customers express how they would like their Christmas decorations to stand out, and to be different from the previous year. Here are simple tips on having unique Christmas decorations...

Avoid the Usual

While it is nice to recycle Christmas decorations, we encourage our customers to add to their collection, or select a few ‘stand out / precious’ decorations from their existing collection, and use these as a ‘base’ for a new and fresh decorative scheme.

Try a different design this year by using fresh materials such as Chincherinchees or Orchids (placed in water vials and threaded through your tree), rather than using synthetic baubles and bows.

Vibrant reds, greens, gold, silver and white commonly dominate many peoples Christmas decor. Dare to be different and style your home in a new colour this year. For example; last year our stores Christmas window displays were decorated in gold, yet this year we have chosen to decorate our stores Christmas window displays, in light pinks and whites.

Evolve your children / grandchildren / nieces and/or nephews by having a craft day in which you make Christmas decorations for your tree. Some of the simplest craft, such as painting cardboard cut outs and tying to your tree can create a stunning and standout look.

Add Fresh Flowers to your Decoration Scheme

The use of fresh flowers Brisbane neatly arranged / placed into a vase or ceramic vessel, can be very effective in evoking the Christmas sprit into the home. Fresh flowers can essentially tie a whole décor scheme together.

Flower varieties such as Chincherinchees, Oriental Lilies, Christmas Lilies, Peonies, Irish Bells, and Blue Spruce are all now in season.

Imagine your Christmas table setting completed with an exquisite table arrangement featuring pinecones, blue spruce, an array of seasonal blooms and candles, or perhaps a few small vases of freshly cut freesias.

Consult one of our friendly florists for further advice on which flowers would best suit your theme.
