Masthead Usually top left or right or in the centre at the top. Can sometimes be covered if the magazine is well known.

BarcodeAt the bottom right. Has date, issue number, price and website next to it.

Buzzwords“Exclusive”

One main image, close up shot of Liam Gallagher. Usually if its a close up the artist is giving direct address (eye contact) to the audience.

The colour scheme never clashes and always goes together. Sometimes the colour depends on the genre of the magazine e.g. White, red and black connote indie

Most of the sub lines are in the same font

Different images other than main image.
