CCNP - Environmentally friendly highly effective polymeric antimicrobial agents for industrial

applications

- R&D and commercialization of innovative antimicrobial systems for

plastics, coatings, cosmetics and textiles.

- Encapsulation of chemically bound biocides.

- Antimicrobial agent is a component of a polymer matrix.

- Use of compounds, which have antimicrobial properties such as photo

catalysts in both daylight and indoor light, but which on their own are

totally non-toxic.

- Preparation and optimization of silver particles for use in polymers, usage

of permanent fixation of such particles on polymeric surfaces.

CCNP - Antimicrobial paint for metal substrates on the basis of an active ion complex

Aim of the project is R&D, process development and manufacturing

generation of antimicrobial varnishes.

The antimicrobial varnish is intended for metal surfaces where elimination of

infection agents is required, e.g. in the health care and the food industry.

Acrylic copolymer coatings for protection against UV rays

New acrylic copolymers with UV-absorbing groups (derivates of benzotriazole) bonded

in macromolecular chains. These polymers are highly suitable as a material for UV

protective coating of artifacts sensitive to natural and/or artificial UV light. Bisphenol-A

epoxy resin was used as a test substrate with low resistance to UV radiation.

This copolymer is now commercially available.
