Change can’t be achieved by just winging it. You have your change management strategy, now what? One of the first steps towards implementing changes in an organization is realizing that the employee base needed to achieve these changes is becoming increasingly diverse. This workshop will showcase proven diversity management techniques and their role within change management. Organizational changes involve a cultural change, and a diversity effort is cultural change at its core. The speaker will use exercises and group dynamics that will help the audience understand how to effectively manage change while working with diverse individuals. The lessons learned from these exercises will be leveraged to change management efforts through the use of the DiversyWheel, a disruptive approach inspired by the Cultural Neuroscience Interaction Model. Miguel will tie Diversity and Change Management with Cultural Neuroscience, the study of how cultural values, practices and beliefs shape and are shaped by brain.
