Client – The client will approach the events management team with a brief containing an overview of details about the event they wish to hold and also a

budget for the event as a whole. It is then the events management team’s responsibility to use the budget effectively to fulfil the clients needs.

Events Manager – The events manager will oversee the whole event as well as keeping the client informed and up to date on the process and all decision making. They will also have to ensure that all tasks required are being carried

out by the correct people and will check this by holding regular planning meetings. The events manager also has to work closely with the budgeting

manager to ensure all departments are keeping to their budgets.

Budget Manager – The budget manager is responsible for first and foremost the budget but they are also responsible for dividing the budget fairly between all apartments. They will also make a record of how the budget is being spent

and any profits made.

Creative Team – The creative team are responsible for the performance part of the event. They are responsible for the development the performance and producing the talent for the performance. They will work closely with the talent relations to find appropriate performers for the event.

Technical Manager – The technical manager is responsible for all technical parts of the event. They are in charge of the technical crew and also finding the most suitable equipment for the event. They will also have to perform any necessary maintenance on the equipment throughout the whole of the event. They are responsible for organising the transportation of the equipment also. The technical crew will answer to the technical manager and receive their job roles within their department from them too.

Talent Relations – The talent relations will provide a list of suitable performers to the creative team and organise the running of auditions. They are responsible for drawing up a contract and also will speak to the department involved should the performers have any issues or requirements

Marketing/PR – The marketing team are responsible for organising all of the advertising to make sure public awareness of the event is at the most it can be. They will be in charge of ticket sales and meeting with external companies for further ticket sales to reach a further audience

Catering – Catering are responsible for all refreshments throughout the event and are also responsible for their own waiting on staff. They will also be responsible for drafting and producing a suitable menu for the event that the client approves of.
