Fiberglass storage tanks are designed to eliminate the effects of fertilizer and chemical corrosion, providing long term performance. These tanks can hold up to 42,000 gallons and are maintenance free. Unlike steel tanks, fiberglass tanks do not rust and they cost less.

Fiberglass tanks also have seismic capabilities. They are gel coated on the exterior for maximum UV protection. Custom options are available, including various shapes, manways to provide easy access to the interior, sight gauges to monitor inventory levels, threaded or flanged molded couplings, vents, and color options in white or gray.

Fiberglass Horizontal TanksThe ends are domed or dished to provide a better distribution of weight and added strength. They can be mounted on carbon steel, concrete, or polyurethane foam filled fiberglass cradles. Polyurethane foam filled cradles are considered standard, unless otherwise specified. They are glassed to the tank.

Horizontal Tanks Cont.The number of cradles is dependent on the weight of the liquid being stored and whether the specific gravity is high or low. We recommend two cradles for lengths up to 20 feet, three cradles for 25 to 35 feet, and four cradles for over 35 feet. Underground tanks have exterior ribs affixed for added strength and rigidity.

Fiberglass Vertical Flat Bottom Tanks

The tops of these can be open, or they can be enclosed with a dome, dished, or conical top. Any vertical fiberglass tank can be fitted with an internal sloped bottom.

Fiberglass Vertical Leg Tanks

These can be manufactured with an open top or can be enclosed with a dished, domed, or conical top. They can also be fitted with dome bottoms with a 30” clearance, as well as a cone bottom. Smaller tanks are built with angle iron legs and larger tanks have l-beam legs.

Ladders with CageAt your request, an OSHA approved cage can be installed with your ladder. The cage inlet is typically 7’ off the ground and extend 3’ 6” past the top seam. This ladder and/or cage can be constructed of either carbon steel or fiberglass.

Ladders Without Cage

We can supply the ladder for your tank, or we can install brackets for you to attach your own ladder. All ladders conform to OSHA’s standards for ladders and walkways. They will extend 3’ 6” above the top head-shell seam with the top rung being flush with the top seam. The bottom can be flush with the ground or can be any desired height off the ground.
