JOHARI’S WINDOW

Page 16: Guddu

EXPLAIN FOUR SELF JOHARI’S WINDOWS

The Johari’s window is created by Joseph Luft and Harrington Ingham in 1955.It helps people to better understand their relationship with self and others. They created a quadrant to reveal what we know or don’t know about something and what other know or don’t know about something.

Page 17: Guddu

THERE ARE FOUR TYPES OF SELF IN THE JOHARI WINDOW FORMAT

•OPEN: Known to self and others. This is what we communicate to others. It is what the communication process is all about.

•HIDDEN: Known to self, but unknown to others. This is what we conceal from others.Sometimes there is a good reason for holding something back.At other hand,it might be bad for communication process.

•BLIND: Unknown to self, but known to others.Sometimes we communicate and sometimes we are unaware of.

•UNKNOWN: Unknown to neither self not others.

TRANSACTIONAL ANALYSIS

Page 19: Guddu

A theory of personality based on

the study of specific ego

states

Page 20: Guddu

I AM IN A ADULT EGO STATE MOSTLY

• I am in a adult ego state, which means I am sometimes in a parent

ego state or in child ego state.

• I react according to the situation.

• I am a rational person,who thinks logically.

Page 21: Guddu

WHAT ARE THE NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE CONDITIONING YOU OBSERVED IN THE MOVIE?

Page 22: Guddu

This movie is excellent for showing how to get out of very difficult situations.Expresses positive and negative in a man.Negatively it expresses in his lower consciousness.

NEGATIVE CONDITIONING:

•Media cameraman people ruined the career of KABIR KHAN.

•This led to the drop out of the captain.

•Members of the hockey association were double minded and didn’t trust WOMEN’S HOCKEY TEAM as said women’s could not play the game, they are only meant for preparing foods and cleaning the floors.

Page 23: Guddu

•The character “BINDYA NAIK” in the movie she was very arrogant. She dominates everyone with her attitude. Her intention was to remove Kabir Khan as a coach because, he was very rude on behalf of all the players.

•She was dreaming of captaining India but any how she couldn’t because the qualities what “VIDYA SHARMA” has she doesn't have that.

•Preeti Sabarwal used foul words on Komal Chutala.Preeti’s fiancé was vice captain of the Indian Cricket Team he demotivated Indian Hockey and said it has no career in that. Hence it was a shame being an Indian demotivating the National Game indirectly. They don’t have any respect for the Indian National Game and India too.

Page 24: Guddu

POSITIVE CONDITIONING:

Following are some coaching concepts that make positive conditioning work .take things that are essential for team success (conditioning) and find a way to make them important to the athletes.

•The first and the foremost point was never say die attitude generated by the coach “Kabir Khan” in the women’s hockey team.

•The coach asked the team to play for each other not against the players who are in the same team, that brings the unity in the team.

•The training of the coach was very good as it result to the world cup i.e. on should have excellent and strict trainers for the best.

•Women’s hockey association members co-operated and agreed with the team to go and participate in the world cup, after seeing the performance with men’s hockey team

•Every time the coach “Kabir khan” motivates the players, no matter if they are losing too.

Page 25: Guddu

TALK ABOUT THE GOAL ACHIEVING SKILLS YOU OBSERVED IN THE MOVIE

KABIR KHAN

Page 26: Guddu

GOAL ACHIEVING SKILLS:•From the beginning goal achieving skills have been observed in the lead actor and coach.when kabir khan was dropped out of the the INDIAN HOCKEY TEAM because the hockey association had a misconception that he took bribe for loosing the game.He came back after seven years not as player but as coach of the INDIAN WOMEN’S HOCKEY TEAM.•Coming on the point association after so many misconception appointed ‘Kabir khan” as a coach of india.• His strictness, his training skills proved against that he’s not only the best player but has good skills of coaching(i.e.) Best Coach.

Page 27: Guddu

•Being a trainer he was with the team till the players need him.He trained the team in every aqspects because his goals achieving skills were different and clear.•At the end with his goal achieving skills he proved that he is right and innocent and then they won the world cup and he got his respect back.

Page 28: Guddu

DISCUSS THE LEADERSHIP QULITIES IN THE MOVIE?

The Leader should be fair and impartial while dealing with the team-members

(The way coach Kabir Khan selects the Captain of the team)

Page 29: Guddu

Individual goals and agendas are always counter-productive (as proved by the way two forward players try to become the

highest goal-scorer at the cost of the team’s fortune)

Page 30: Guddu

Those who do not play for the common goal should be ruthlessly dealt with and kept OUT of the team (The way

coach Kabir Khan orders players OUT of the team is memorable)

Page 31: Guddu

The leader should not hesitate to take hard-decisions on selecting and retaining the members of the team

Page 32: Guddu

Knowing the strengths, weaknesses and strategies of competitors (of the organization / team) is essential to fully

exploit the strengths of the organization/team, to overcome its weaknesses and formulate appropriate strategies to exploit

the weaknesses of the competitors and to win.

Page 33: Guddu

Nothing is better for you than your biggest failure

Page 34: Guddu

If you have the talent, passion and commitment, you can make underdgos win.

Page 35: Guddu

Unless pushed to limits, your team will not perform at its best

Page 36: Guddu

Be strict and straight with your team. You don’t have to always be nice with them

Page 37: Guddu

Strategy is important - know the team members individual strengths and weaknesses

Page 38: Guddu

Understanding and respecting each other’s role and contribution is the important first step to cooperation

Page 39: Guddu

Work together and

Win together

Page 40: Guddu

Because "Sometimes Winning is Everything!"

Page 41: Guddu

WHAT SORT OF EGO SATES YOU OBSERVED IN THE MOVIE ?

Ego state relates purely to behavioral age, unrelated to chronological age ,can change several times during transactions, guide human behaviour, cause victory or defect.

•PATRENTAL EGO STATE:Authoritative, caring, controlling, advisory and sometime bossy.*example:As a coach he has the abilities to control the team.

Page 42: Guddu

•ADULT EGO STATE:Care, concern, respect, responsibility and maturity.*example: I’ve seen this sort of ego in Preeti Sabarwal.Because in the beginning when she approached at the registration center, she was arguing with the coach.

Page 43: Guddu

•CHILD EGO STATE: The child ego state has the liberty of fun loving and carefree behaviour the playfulness may end or escalate when adults and parents enter the scenario.*example: Haryana girl Komal Chautala had a child ego state. She used to abuse Preeti Sabarwal on the field saying,”I’ll be the girl whose going to hit more goals than you.”

Page 44: Guddu

Which factor you observed in the movie which you think is responsible for development of one’s personality?

• The factor which I think is responsible for one’s personality is the Haryana girl Komal Chautala . She was the center forward player in the movie, her rivalry was Preeti Sabarwal the another one who plays on the same place. On the field she never passes the ball to her. She was not matured. Her mentality was proved to be a child ego state.

Timepasses but there were no changes in her character . As they reached finals Kabir Khan the coach of Indian Women’s Hockey Team noticed the two and called them to solve the situation. He screamed, he yelled then he made them understand that you have to play for

each other to win the final match otherwise you’ll loose it.at the end, things worked Komal Chautala passed the b all to Preeti

Sabarwal and they won the worldcup.Komal Chautala thought and changed her behaviour to win the worldcup.

continue till the end of my course. Basically I was a raw when I came to Frankfinn, but the entire staff polished half of me and still the another half of me

remains incomplete.

I need to be improved on my communication skills. I request my faculty to monitor and observe me in the

class and give me feedbacks, so that I can understand why and when I can make errors and to help me improving my overall communication skills.

Page 61: Guddu

What sort of moral value you are lacking and how you can develop the same?

Moral values changes as per the needs of society. But the humans nature has not changed for generations. That is why it looks as moral values are important in ethics, punctual. But gradually such type of peoples are decreasing day by day because the entire system is changing by corruption, not following the rule and regulations of the country, not believing the ethics.

*The moral value which are lacking, I can develop are:

•I will try to improve my will power through this I can achieve anything. Where there is a will there is a way. I will try not to loose confidence in any situation.

•Being more useful to others. By doing social service.

Page 62: Guddu

*If I maintain moral values:

•I will know many unknown things.

•I will be mentally peaceful.

•People will respect you in home and society.
