Meeting Cost Timer – ENTER SALARY

To determine the cost of a meeting each meeting participant must enter their annual salary. We recommend rounding up to the nearest $1000. To protect the identity of the

information entered at least 3 salary data points must be entered.

Have less than 3 people meeting? Enter $1000 for each “ghost” person. Then enter the difference between your salary and the total “ghost” salary already entered.

To enter salaries choose the white box and enter a numeric value and click “enter”. A black box will be displayed stating “successfully entered”

When all salaries have been entered choose “done” in the right hand corner of the keyboard and then “start meeting”

Choose “cancel meeting” if there is a data entry error; the “set up a meeting” will be displayed to start over

Choose “Start Timer” and start the meeting

Cost of Meeting - TIMER

The timer will begin and continue until either “done” or “break” is selected

Select “break” when the meeting is deliberately paused i.e. lunch, restroom, stretch

If the meeting contains debate, interruptions or goes off track do not be tempted to “break”. Interferences make up the cost of an ineffective meeting. Allowing them to be included in the cost helps in analyzing ways to improve meeting effectiveness and return on investment

When the meeting is complete select “done”
